Last night, after my women’s circle, I took my three year old down to our boat basin to look at the Full Moon.
Oh, she was beautiful! Intense and full in the summer night sky, a golden pathway extended from her, dancing across the river, illuminating all the living greenery in the river and ending at yet another perfect reflection in the water.
I took the above picture … which captures none of this.
The Moon is complicated. Since she is a reflection of Light, you cannot easily capture her beauty.
She is not fake nor easily reproduced. In a world of copies and virtual vicarious living, she must be lived in the moment and seen through your own eyes in order to capture her exquisite beauty.
The Beautiful Complicated Moon
