Isacco,  we love you! AMAZING Northern Italian cuisine. Chef Isacco is from Milan and cooks traditional dishes from that region of Italy. He is a brilliant self-trained chef who truly cares about his customers.
Always a wonderful meal! Try the outdoor seating in nicer weather as it makes for a beautiful evening.

As good as Italian gets in St. Charles. I actually had THREE bookmarks to try Isacco Kitchen after Jennifer G had highly recommended them over three years ago.

Best Italian meal we have had in Illinois this year. We got lucky with a surprisingly nice Fall night that let us eat outside at one of the maybe 8 tables outside right next to a little babbling architectural pond/stream, magical. Was excited to see East Coast oysters on the menu, but then not so excited (too small) when I saw some on the way to wash my hands, went with the Calamari appetizer that was perfectly NOT overcooked with an interesting mango salsa. Fabio our fantastic server helped us pick from our top 4/5 choices and we went with the homemade duck ravioli with sage butter and smoked prosciutto, and short ribs cannelloni baked with marinara, asiago and ratatouille. with a delicious huge side of roasted brussel sprouts with bacon, walnuts and orange zest. Delicious.

No time for desert on the way to a show at the Arcada but we saw a couple chocolate desserts go by that 4 people could share. The by the glass wine looked better than average and there was a better than average smallish bottle list with a lot of fairly priced Super Tuscans and even a couple Barberas, really good food wine list.

Portions were not large or small, service quiet and unobtrusive, and we did have small leftovers of everything. Most expensive appetizer was $16 and a couple lobster main courses topped at $28, very reasonable we thought for the level of quality and service. Eating inside would have been a much different experience, smaller and more private, and it’s not big in there. Easy free parking.
Lunch also looks very reasonable. Do it.
